I have not been keeping up with my Tumblr as much as I used to since I started school here at UA. A lot has trangressed since I got dropped off on August 20th. Too much to put into words and record on this Tumblr post. I think I am going to start getting back in the swings on Tumblr and begin to post more.

Five Days
So I have survived being at home alone for two straight weeks….I think I could survive this thing called college. :) PREPARED!

The past few days…
So this past Monday and Tuesday, I was at my orientation session for Alabama. And let me just say, I had an absolute amazing time while I was there! I mean, yeah, some of the sessions were somewhat boring, but being able to meet new people was amazing! I was there with all of my fellow musical theatre majors who are going to be in my class and we all met and spent time together the whole time. After our first day and this party that Bama Bound (name of orientation) put on for us, we went to a graduated theatre senior’s house and met some other people and made some really good brownies. Even though my twin, Drey (who isn’t really my twin, but we are so much alike) was being rather dramatic and said they were dry. The night at Wesley’s house was amazing and we shared some great laughs until about 1 in the morning. And then I went back to the campus and went to bed. And then I woke up and started the next day of orientation and only really thing that we did was register for schedules for the fall, and that took us musical theatre majors about 45 minutes because we had all these questions and had to get overrides and all of that jazz (ha, clever Chicago reference, since we’re doing that in the spring). And then after that, we went to talk to our director and that was a great meeting and it made me so excited for the fall! ROLL TIDE!

So I finally got my AP scores and I was kind of shocked. Well not at the 1 on the AP Microeconomics, because all year, the only thing I ever “learned” was supply and demand. Let’s be honest, half of us in that class still don’t even know what that is. But I was fairly shocked at the 2 on AP US Government exam. I actually studied really hard on that exam and I thought I did an okay job, at least deserving a 3. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Oh well, the only college credit worthy score of mine is my 3 on AP US History from junior year. So I can send that in. Woot.

Puerto Vallarta
Mexico is awesome. It’s nice to finally get a break from it all. Only bad thing I have to worry about is this sun burn and my throat hurting. But otherwise, I’m having a great time. I leave for home in two days and it will be somewhat bittersweet, BUT I will be going to Bama Bound in 9 days after I get back, so that is something to look forward too! :)
